In November 1948, our father, Andre Delanjian, founded this business in Brookline, Massachusetts. He had a passion for oriental rugs and he wanted to establish an environment where he could share his knowledge and love for these beautiful and intricate works of art. He knew that for the business to succeed, he had to earn his customers' respect and trust. Our father worked hard to make both the novice and the expert buyer feel welcome and comfortable. He would never sell a carpet that he had not personally selected for its beauty and quality, and one that he would not be proud to have in his own home. It worked. As other businesses have come and gone during this past half century, Delanjian Rugs has remained committed to this tradition. We bring you reasonably priced high quality oriental rugs from around the world, each personally and carefully selected by our family.
